LABOUR HISTORY: AHMED WHITE A TRUE SCHOLAR

The Australian Society for the Study of Labour History holds author Ahmed White up as an example of a scholar who is engaged in a "search for excellence, or perfection," a quest for something that "lifts the spirits." According to the Journal, "[t]he extent of [White's] research is breathtaking." Professor White delved into the meaning of "not just the events of that day but the broader significance of the steel strikes and their implications for labour relations and the nature of American society."
